How to create "pick up a car effect" with Adobe After Effect?

Have you ever watched super heroes movies that show the super heroes doing impossible things for human beings, like picking up a car, hitting an airplane? Well, all these things are possible in movies with movie special effects. One of the most common action is to pick up the car as seen on movies. And this can be done with program like Adobe After Effects. Here's a tutorial video on how to pick up a car using Adobe After Effects.

What special effects are there in Adobe After Effect?

Here's a short great video made by Kevin Lin, a young boy who used Adobe After Effects CS3 to create this video with special effects which some of them you might ever see in movies, like: light saber, kamehameha (in Dragon Ball), laser and energy ball. There's also effect like earthquake. If you have ever watched Star Trek, then you can imagine the "light saber". I prefer the Kamehameha effect which is usually used in Dragon Ball Movies.
