Google Blogger has new interface now...

Do you have a Blogger blog? You must have noticed that Blogger has a better and cleaner interface. You can see your blog post compose area is now white in appearance. This seems to make you focus on writing the post. Add image from Phone or Webcam is now available, too.

This plainly white interface seems quite clean, but I'm still not really used to it. Also, you may need to take a little time to find where elements like Labels and Schedule has gone. Yes, it's on the right. Because, the Labels text box doesn't appear automatically (click required), you sometimes may have forgot to type in the labels. But, never mind, you'll get used to it soon.

How do you use your Google Search?

"Google", a name that almost nobody doesn't know. Yes, I think it's the greatest search engine of the world. Everybody all over the world keeps on using Google Search every day and every moment. See a video from Google that briefly introduces use different usage of Google by different people. Some prefer to type for search and some prefer to speak (voice search) for search. But, you can also search by uploading an image. What a wonderful search engine.

Google now applies new sign-in page for adsense publisher

When you open your Google adsense for signing and start working for your adsense, checking your earning today, you'll probably see a different look. The new sign-in page looks quite different where you see a clearer white background. This also arises a doubt in entering your user name and password. You might think why there's a sudden change.

In fact, Google also has a page where it tells you why Google has changed the look of sign-in page. Here's the page of the reasons why it has changed. Whenever you are entering a new page which also arises you doubts, make sure that you check again that you are typing the correct url for the site you are opening. Then check whether the sign-in page of the site has a "LOCK" icon in the address bar, just on the left of your url. When you see this "LOCK" icon on Google Chrome, it means you are on a secure page. Google suggests that you use Google Chrome for browsing.

Is your site doing well in Google search?

Have you posted a lot on your new site, but found that your site is not doing well in Google search? If so, you might probably feel frustrated and eventually would stop posting articles, thinking that it would be a waste of time.
But before you decide to give up, you should understand how to improve your site in Google search engine. At least keep on posting good articles. Then start using Google Webmaster Tools. Google Logos and their meanings

Google logos have always given the visitor surprise and laughter. Why I said so? Today when I visited the site, I found that it had a new logo again. This time it's Google inside the Pac-Man maze. Well, this is also a bit funny. Everybody knows Pac-Man, the popular classic arcade game created in 1980. If you like collecting the logos. You can still download it from my page.

I also made a search about the meaning and found that in fact Google is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Pac-man. Google has been creating different kinds of logos to celebrate different occasions of the world since 1998 until now. The custom homepage logo is called doodle. But the logo I have seen today is the most different one. Why I said so? You can the "Insert Coin" button when you open the homepage. When you click the button, you can play the game. And this seems to be the first playable version of the doodle.

How to check if your new blog or site is indexed in Google search engine?

You have just created a new blog with blogger and you are curious whether your site is indexed in Google Search engine. This actually takes time to complete the index. But actually Google index is quite fast. Being indexed in the search engine is so important for you to gain traffic. Such traffic gained from search engine is called organic traffic.
Then, how to check if it's indexed? It's very simple. Follow these steps.
1. Open your browser.
2. Go to www.google.com
3. In the search box, just type site: followed by your site/blog name.

For example: if your blog is yummy-vegetarian.blogspot.com, then you should type:
site:yummy-vegetarian.blogspot.com
If your site/blog link is listed, then it means that your blog/site is indexed by Google.

Google Chrome is a new browser from Google that make your browsing faster, safer and more stable.

Here are some advantages from using Google Chrome:

When you type a url, the "http://" is already there. You don't have to click google search toolbar like you have to do in Firefox or Internet Explorer. The address bar itself is already a search engine. That means two in one. So, that saves you time from moving your hand when you want to press TAB or moving to mouse.

The New Tab is also new and quite useful. The "+" (plus sign) for New Tab is right next to your opened tab. So, it's more convenient for you to click. Then, when you opened a new tab, you'll find that your most visited sites are also displayed there. Also with the search engine.
