Shrink Picture for used in e-mails, social networking, blogs and messengers

People nowadays can do many things online conveniently. From games to business, everything has been made easier time to time. But, I think there are four common things people usually do online. What are the four common things?
1. Working with e-mails, like Gmail or Yahoo Mail.
2. Using social networking, like Facebook, Twitter, Google+ etc.
3. Writing blogs using Blogger or Wordpress.
4. Chatting or making calls with messengers, like Skype, Yahoo or MSN Messenger

Alright, what people do with these four things also have a common thing they usually need, that is "Photo" uploading. Am I right? You send photos as attachment for e-mails. And probably you don't want to waste your time on waiting for the uploading process which may take up quite a long time. For certain people, such thing maybe a fun thing cause you are expecting the other party to see your photos. To some people, it's just a waste of time which they wish that if only it could be faster. And also, you will hit the roof when internet connection is down at that time.

People love time-saving tips and stuffs. And that's why some programmers write software that save time. And one of  the way to save time, is by shrinking the photos you are going to upload. Shrinking photos means reducing the size by compressing it.

Typing Curriculum Vitae in an e-mail as contents

This is a simple tip that I found useful and would like to share when I was helping my cousin typing a CV (Curriculum Vitae) for her job application. She intended to apply for a job and asked me to help her send an e-mail of her CV. I thought that since it was just text as the contents, I'd rather type it in the text box rather than attach it from a Word document. It's faster, though.

But I found a problem when typing her data with ":" (colon). The colon characters weren't neat at all. Suddenly, I remembered that there's a font name which had the same width for all characters. Do you know which font? It's "Courier New".  I used Courier New as the font and everything seemed so neat. And that's what I called a simple tip for typing curriculum vitae. Hope it does help.

First about e-mail
If you have a friend who is ill now (maybe she's got flu - you know it from your friend indirectly), you can send her an e-mail asking about her condition. You may show her your care.

Second about e-greeting card
Then if you want to give her a little surprise rather than simple e-mail, you can send e-greeting card by visiting websites that provide these services. One of my favorite site is:

Third about making a call
You can use online phone service like Skype, Google Talk. If your friend is one of the member, you call without any cost (free). I mean PC to PC.

Fourth about surprise fax
If you know your friend's fax number, you can send her a surprise fax saying:

You can use fax machine or computer software like FaxTalk (sometimes it's included when you buy a modem). Or search for "free fax software". I'll post this later.
