Restoring Folder Options

Sometimes, certain virus can hide itself from being seen by changing the folder attribute to HIDDEN. To do this the virus will also add NoFolderOptions to the registry. So, you can't activate the Folder options menu.

Of course to remove virus, you will just need antivirus. However, when antivirus can't do that, you still need to do it manually by the following steps:

• Click Start then click Run or use Windows shortcut + R (the button is between Ctrl and Alt)

• Next, type "regedit"Then, Find

[HKEY_CRNT_USR\SW\Msoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
D WORD “NoFolderOptions”

• Delete the NoFolderOptions registry and exit.
  

This should solve the problems and restore the Folder Options menu.
